Join us September 20, 2025 for Woodwind Day at UNCSA!
Splinter Reed Quintet joins UNCSA Professors Tadeu Coelho, Rachel Messing, Oskar Espina-Ruiz, Stephanie Patterson, and Caleb Carpenter in a day full of workshops, instrument maintenance, reed-making, chamber music, and career development. The day will include classes with Splinter Reeds, Clarinet Repair Technician Mark Jacobi, and representatives from Flute World, as well as workshops with our award winning UNCSA woodwind faculty. Participants are encouraged to bring repertoire of their choosing including: all-state audition music, etudes and other repertoire. The day will culminate with a recital by Splinter Reeds at 7:30pm in Watson Recital Hall. Register by Sept. 4, 2025 to make sure you get a T-shirt!
