    On Friday, November 11, the voice department will host prospective students beginning at 3:30 PM.  This will be an opportunity to meet the faculty, talk to current voice students and observe and participate is a number of activities.

    Our Cantata Singers are in preparation for a performance of Handel’s Jeptha with the UNCSA Symphony Orchestra and there will be an opportunity to observe part of a rehearsal.

    There will be an opera improvisation class, as well as a Q&A with our students and faculty.

    Dinner will be provided at 6:00 in the Dining Hall.  The day will end with the final dress rehearsal of the Fletcher Opera Institute’s Opera Scenes Program at 7:30. This program will include scenes from Bizet’s Carmen, Rossini’s Barber of Seville, Robert Ward’s The Crucible and the second act of Massenet’s Manon.
